Grounded Research for Changing Economies
IITEDA is an organisation for information technology and economic development research in line with UN Sustainable Goals. The research we conduct can be interdisciplinary to embrace science, social science, business, health and environmental studies, and humanities. Thus, we organise international conferences and publish books and peer-reviewed journal papers.
In 2008, 2009 and 2016, it was with the University of the West of Scotland and the University of Calabar. These were held at the University of Calabar, Nigeria.
In 2017, these two universities, along with International Information Management Association (IIMA) www.iima.org jointly hosted ICITED and IIMA conference in Scotland.
In 2018, IITEDA in collaboration with International Information Management Association (IIMA) www.iima.org jointly hosted ICITED and IIMA conference in America.
In 2019, IITEDA in collaboration with Kaduna State university
hosted ICITED2019 which was attended online and face-to-face.
IITEDA in collaboration with Gregory University organized ICITED 2020 conference.
In 2021, IITEDA in collaboration with Cross River University of Technology organize ICITED 2021.
IITEDA is planning to launch her refereed academic journal in September 2023.

The International Journal of Information Technology and Economic Development (IJITED) publishes cross-border, policy-grounded scholarship on connectivity, digital literacy, and economic development — rigorously refereed, openly focused on the Global South.
